Paul is an experienced private equity investor and special situation professional. He recently concluded a 22-year career at Birch Hill Equity Partners. Birch Hill is a leading, control-oriented Canadian PE firm with over $5 Billion in AUM and a top quartile performer. Paul was an active deal partner at Birch Hill and also managed various underperforming investments of the Fund. Prior to Birch Hill, Paul was Chief Risk Officer for TD Capital’s Global investment program ($3 Billion AUM) and was a Principal in PwC’s restructuring practice (Toronto/Melbourne). Paul is currently a Senior Advisor to Northleaf Capital Partners private equity group (AUM ~$19 Billion) and serves on the boards of Greenfield Global and Oak Ridge Waste. He also serves on the Board of Mount Allison University and is the retired Chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto.

Dave is a CPA and a Chartered Insolvency Professional (CIP). He retired from his Vice Chairman role at PwC in June of 2021. Up until his retirement, Dave led both the PwC Canada Deals business, where he focused on M&A, Value Creation and Crisis situations as well as PwC’s Data Analytics/AI business.
